Tustin takes part in Dash and 5k walk

Many Tustin runners, walkers, and bikers will be heading to Dino Dash and ITP advocates this early November, for the 9th Annual Pump it up for Platelets 5k Walk.

The Tustin Public Schools Foundation will be presenting its annual Dino Dash, on Sunday, November 5th.

Registration will begin at 5:30am, with the 15k and 50k bike tours beginning at 6:30am. The 5k bike tour will start at 6:45am, with the 10k chip-timed run beginning at 7:00am.

The Dino Dash expo will commence at 7:00am, where the food court will open, and the 5k chip-timed run will begin at 8:00am. The cross country 5k starts at 8:20am, followed by the 2k Fun Run at 9:00am.

The 10k, 5k, and Bike Tour finisher medals will feature a Logo Design created by local students.

The Dino Dash will be at 2915 El Camino Real.

The 9th Annual Pump it up for Platelets will be a leisurely walk to support and raise awareness for those affected with Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), an autoimmune bleeding disorder. Proceeds from the walk will go to the Platelet Disorder Support Association.

Admission will be $20 for adults and $10 for children. Registration will be from 7:30am to 9:00am, and the walk will begin at 9:30am.

The 9th Annual Pump it up for Platelets will take place Saturday, November 4th at William R. Mason Regional Park, 18712 University Drive, Irvine.
