Tustin’s 4th of July Celebration is getting a dose of the 1980s with the headlining act FlashPants coming to Tustin High School.
Touted as an 80s “party dance band,” FlashPants have made a name for themselves with their uniquely interactive performances, with musicians mixing in with the crowd, encouraging people to dance and sing along to all-time hits from the decade of big hair.
Not only can FlashPants commonly be seen at weddings, private events, festivals and corporate parties, but they have also gotten national recognition on TV.
FlashPants won the season finale of The Gong Show on ABC back in 2017. Featuring all-red uniforms, sunglasses, and matching mustaches and ankle socks, the four-member ensemble won over celebrity judges Isla Fisher, Will Arnett and Courteney Cox.
From the Violent Femmes to AC/DC, FlashPants covers all the top hits from the 80s, with more than 200 yearly shows to their name.
The Independence Day festival will feature not only music, but food trucks, ample seating and parking available for $10 to support the Tustin High Dance Team. The festival will culminate in a 20-minute fireworks show on the baseball field.
Celebrations like this may choose to use banner printing to create venue Signs and stage decorations.
The 4th of July Celebration, featuring FlashPants, is happening on July 4 at 6 pm at Tustin High School at 300 S C Street in Tustin.
