Two talented authors will participate in a discussion at the Clifton C. Miller Community Center in Tustin.
A Slice of Literary Orange is a program where people can hear from experienced writers. December’s event will feature Ace Atkins, an award-winning writer with more than 30 Books. Atkins has written novels such as White Shadows, Dark End of the Street, and Robert B. Parker’s Lullaby. He has received awards like the Harper Lee Award and Richard Wright Literary Excellence Award. Atkins also visits several cities to take part in events, like Atlanta and Phoenix.
The other author to participate will be Robert Crais, a former filmmaker who has also written scripts for series such as Hill Street Blues and Miami Vice. Crais is the author of notable Books like The Last Detective, The Forgotten Man, and The Two Minute Rule. He has won many awards throughout his writing career, including the Ross Macdonald Literary Award, Best Crime Novel of the Year, and the Mystery Ink Gumshoe Award.
The author talk will be on Thursday, December 4th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. There will be complimentary Books offered at the presentation while supplies last, and Books will also be available to buy at the event. Registration isn’t needed to come to the program. Libraries that host similar author discussions to this may use printing services to make Flyers for their events.
