A Tustin-based art studio is giving artists a soothing and naturally inspired subject matter for an early June class.

Moon Over the Pines is a class being launched by Pinot’s Palette where attendees will re-draw the ‘moon over the pines’ image for themselves. The instructor will not only help the group create their pieces, they will also offer the choice of any color the painter may choose for an element of the image. Individuals aged 16 and up are welcome to take part in the lesson, no matter their level of experience or natural ability with art.

The studio will provide beverages and food through its bar. These are sold at a separate cost, as there are times where not everyone may wish to eat or drink. Bringing in items is not allowed.

Showing up early is important to allow for time to settle in and socialize before the painting starts. The recommended time is half an hour prior. Pinot’s Palette is selling the passes to the experience on its website at a $39 price tag. The venue asks those attending in groups to mention each of the names of their friends if people are buying individually, as this is the only way to ensure everyone is assigned to seats with each other.

The class will be two and a half hours from 3:00pm-5:30pm. Flyer printing is a quick, simple way for artists and art studios to promote such events. The date will be June 1st.
