Tustin shows off for summer

The City of Tustin is hosting a ‘Summer Showcase’ later this month, allowing the parks and recreation division to show off all it has to offer for the season.

Guests can meet instructors, register for classes and possibly win a prize in the raffle. Individuals who fill out a ‘passport’ and register during the event are eligible for a 20% discount.

During the showcase, there will be a special focus on tennis. Individuals aged five and over can bring a tennis racket, view presentations, and take part in short lessons with qualified instructors. There will also be contests and games.

The community’s parks and recreation division offers a wide variety of classes and programs for all ages. Dance, fitness, swim, tennis, and sports are some of the main categories. In addition, there are several summer camps for kids and teens.

The city has likely utilized postcard printing to create a direct mailer to distribute. This is an easy and inexpensive way to promote an event. A postcard with a picture of the Sports Park and a list of the events would help inform the local community about the ‘Summer Showcase.’

Tustin Sports Park is located at 12850 Robinson Way. The event takes place on May 17 from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon, with the tennis activities going on from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. For more information, call (714) 573-3326.
