This month, the Renegade Summer five-mile chip-timed trail run series will kick off in Tustin.
Rough Fit will led a warm up and cool down. The course will begin and end at Cedar Grove Park, and will make its way through Peters Canyon Wilderness Park along several different trails and around a eucalyptus grove.
Young people can try out the ‘Rough Fit Kids Obstacle Course’, where they will go through tunnels, climb over walls, take on a slip and slide, and tackle many more obstacles.
After working up a sweat, participants can attend the post-race barbecue, where there will be music, food, and a raffle. Children can check out the play area.
Registration costs $33 and includes a T-shirt or barbecued food. For an additional $5, participants can have both. The kids’ obstacle course costs $12.
The race is the first installment of a three-part series that will take place in the local area over the summer. It is likely a poster printing service has been busy making Signs to promote the running events.
Participants should be ready to run on June 18 at 6:15 pm. Race-day registration and packet pick-up starts at 5:00 pm. The kids’ obstacle course event begins at 6:45 pm.
Cedar Grove Park is located on 11385 Pioneer Road. Parking is also available at Pioneer Middle School and Peters Canyon Elementary School.Get a Free Quote for Signs
