Tustin event to mix creativity with flora and fauna
An early April Tustin event will be combining two popular subjects to bring locals a colorful experience.
Paint Nite is a company that uses the concept of taking part in an activity while indulging in an adult beverage, often referred to as an “and sip” event, to both benefit local businesses and give community members a chance to socialize in a new way.
Paint Nite also hosts activities with other crafts as the center in place of the paintings. This means there are other experiences to try if the painting isn’t someone’s preferred artistic endeavor.
Magic Garden Cat is a piece of art by Wendy Anderson, an artist who has created a number of images for Paint Nite. Magic Garden Cat showcases a cheerful rainbow of flowers with a simple black cat in the middle. The class will be led by Anderson’s fellow Paint Nite artist Marisol Garcia. Garcia will be able to help the group discover several techniques as they each craft their own version of the artwork.
The venue is Tustin’s location of Mimi’s Cafe. Food and beverages are not included in the admission cost for the event, but the cafe’s menu is available to attendees for separate purchase. Arriving early to make any purchases is advised.
Tickets are available through Paint Nite’s website, at a price of $45. This class is open to teens and adults. Many artistic events, especially those that use different venues, can use promotion techniques such as flyer printing. The event will take place between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on April 4.
