A Tustin event is putting together a popular symbol of cold weather and a sunny environment in early December.
Christmas Sandman is a Pinot’s Palette art class. The instructor will be showing attendees every step, explaining several techniques, and helping everyone have a fun experience. The finished work could be a gift for fans of the beach, or a piece of art to add some brightness to the participant’s own home.
Painters will craft a calming, warm beach backdrop, with a version of a snowman made from the sand around it. This “Sandman” will have a few holiday-themed accessories as well, adding to the Christmas feelings. Since Christmas does not always end up being snowy for everyone, this is a way to give a traditional snow scene an interesting twist.
Anyone aged 16 or older is able to participate in this activity. Tickets, available on the Pinot’s Palette website, are $40 each. The Tustin venue also offers a menu of drinks and food for separate costs. A form of ID will be required for any alcohol purchases.
The event will run between 5:00pm and 7:15pm. Flyer printing is a promotion technique often used for art-related experiences. The date for the class is Sunday, December 8. Participants can access the bar up to half an hour before the event to socialize, eat, and drink.
