Tustin car show to benefit those with breast cancer

The Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin will hold a car event in October to celebrate women in the automotive community, and support families impacted by breast cancer.

The Heels and Wheels Car Show is an event organized by Women Driven Cars & Coffee where people can showcase their vehicles in a welcoming environment. The Rise Espresso Bar will provide the coffee for the car show, and all guests will receive a donut or muffin. All women who submit vehicles for the event are expected to stay near or in their cars for the duration of the show. Organizations that run similar events to this may use flyer printing services to share information about their shows with more consumers.

The beneficiary of the car show is Runway for Recovery, a charitable group that raises funds for patients with breast cancer and their families. The organization holds three annual fashion shows that feature those impacted by breast cancer as the models. Some of the programs created by Runway for Recovery include the Family Grant Program and the Model Recovery Retreat. Olivia Boger is the founder and executive director of the group.

The car show will be held on Sunday, October 5 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, and the gates to the event will open at 8:30 am. Tickets to see the show will cost $15 per person. Admission to the Marconi Automotive Museum will be included for all eventgoers.
