Tustin boot camp to help foodies go meat free

Whether for health or ethical reasons, choosing plant-based dishes can be a tasty option, and a Tustin workshop will help point the way.

A boot camp weekend will introduce those who would like to learn more about plant-based cooking to recipes and techniques that use nuts, fruits, legumes, and veggies. The participants will explore the health and other benefits of choosing this sort of diet, and there will be a total of 12 hours of instructional time.

The organizer of the activity explained that it is suitable to all levels of culinary experience, and even those who have never made a meal before will be able to participate. Knife skills, the preparation of vegan soups, nutrition and meal planning, smoothies, soy, and other meat alternatives will all be on the agenda, and the menu ranges from snacks to appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Everyone is asked to wear shoes with closed toes, and hair must be tied back.

Everyone who attends the function will be provided with aprons and kitchen tools to use, and recipes will also be given to the students. These sorts of items can be obtained for a cookery class from a company that crafts customized Corporate Gifts.

The Plant Based Boot Camp will welcome those who are new to this lifestyle on April 17 and 18. The Location for the event will be 17231 17th Street B in Tustin.
