Locals in and around Tustin can visit a huge fair with a wealth of rides, food, and fun activities.
Celebrating its 125th year, the OC Fair will offer carnival rides, live performances, and all kinds of delicious food. Brochure printers have probably been busy creating promotional materials for vendors.
Guests can check out the sports arena where there will be demolition derbies and motorcycle racing. Other highlights include the ‘All-Alaskan Racing Pigs’, the cattle drive, shopping, and the agricultural exhibits.
For an additional fee, guests can take in one of the many concerts at the fair’s Pacific Ampitheater. Performers include The Steve Miller Band and The Offspring. There will also be an ice skating rink, wine seminars, and beer tastings.
General admission is $12, while seniors aged 60 and over and children between the ages of 6 and 12 cost $7. Kids who are five and under are free. Carnival rides, food, and many of the events cost extra.
The fair will take place from July 17 until August 16, but is closed every Monday and Tuesday. The hours are noon until midnight on Wednesday through Friday and 10:00 am until midnight at the weekend.
On August 9 at 8:00 am, the Fair will host a 5K run through the fairgrounds. Registration costs $35 for adults and $25 for kids.
The fair will be held at 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.
