Orange County brewery expands into Southern California

Gunwhale Ales has announced that it is expanding its distribution reach to serve more of Southern California.

This means that the brewery’s products can now be found in stores in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Ventura. Gunwhale Ales' products could previously only be found in cities such as Tustin that are located in the company's home county of Orange. The expansion was made possible thanks to a partnership formed with Craft Los Angeles and Craft San Diego. The company’s Logo Design is likely to feature on its products.

Gunwhale Ales’ list of brewed beers includes Bait Bail, Surfbird, Tropical Downpour, Narrabeen DDH Hazy DIPA, and Across The Stars. The brewer plans to meet the increased demand by scaling up its operations at its tap-room and production facility located in Orange. General Manager of Craft LA and Craft SD, Kyle Sartanowicz, explained:

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Gunwhale Ales. Great brand, great liquid and, most importantly, great people. Craft Los Angeles is looking forward to quickly fulfilling the untapped demand for Gunwhale Ales and building the brand throughout Southern California.”

One of Gunwhale Ales' co-founders, Bobby Fitzgerald, stated that it has always been the company’s goal to supply its beer to a larger market, and that the success of the new facility that opened in 2019 has made this possible.

Craft Los Angeles and Craft San Diego is a distribution company with a history dating back to the 1800s.
