Derek Irwin is scheduled to host a magic show/tasting at a bar in Tustin, California in early May. The event is strictly 18 and up, requiring a two drink minimum.
The event is an immersive tasting experience, combined with bar magic tricks. For those under 21 in attendance, there are non-alcoholic versions of the drinks available. The drinks are included with the ticket purchase, as well as a special flavor of Chex Mix.
The event is two hours long, with half being a cocktail hour, and half being a magic show/tasting. Seating is first come, first serve, and guests are required to present their ID to enter. There is no dress code, but the organizers do suggest wearing luau or cocktail clothing from the 1950s and 1960s to further enhance the experience.
Magic-themed events sometimes have Promotional Products involved in the tricks for participants to take home. Those seated closest to the bar are most likely to be involved directly in the show, but the space is an intimate venue.
The show will take place at the Stowaway bar in Tustin. There are early shows from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and late shows from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Tickets are all general admission, meaning every guest is getting the same experience.
