Locals remember at annual run and walk

Tustin residents can take part in two events that hope to raise awareness for pregnancy and infancy loss.

The 2nd Annual Forever Footprints 5K Run and the 11th Annual OC Walk to Remember gives families and supporters the chance to run or walk in memory of their baby or babies.

The day will begin with the 5K. After the run, participants will get complimentary bottled water and fruit. Then, individuals can take part in the memorial ceremony and walk to remember. The event will culminate with the Celebration of Angels in the Promenade.

Registration costs $35 for the run or $40 for the run and walk. Those who register on or before September 28 will be guaranteed a race shirt. On event day, registration increases $5. Children 10 and under are free.

Pre-race packet pickup will take place on October 9 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the race location. A Stationery printing service has likely helped create these packets.

It all takes place on October 10 at the District at Tustin Legacy, located on 2437 Park Avenue. Parking is free.

Event day registration begins at 6:00 am and the race kicks off at 7:00 am. The Memorial Ceremony starts at 8:15 am, followed by the walk at 9:00 am, and the Celebration of Angels at 10:00 am.
