Library to host educational party

The Tustin Library is acting as the venue for an exciting celebration for children, with an educational element, in early July.

Kids Imagination Nation (KIN) is a music trio consisting of Rachel Charest-Bertram, Aaron Bertram, and Vince Walker. All three members have worked educating young children in the past. Their mutual passions for helping kids learn and musical theater gave help them bring their project to life. In addition to KIN, the three also perform together in Suburban Legends, a ska band. Bertram and Charest-Bertram have also worked as theme park performers.

In addition to performing classic tunes like “Wheels on the Bus” and “Old MacDonald Had a Farm,” the group also Pens original songs on a variety of subjects. The music videos, as well as the online series, are available via YouTube.

The event, Summer of Fun, while geared towards children who are 10 or younger, is open to attendees of any age. The experience is free to take part in. Everyone is encouraged to wear either one of the primary colors like the cast members do, or shop from the group’s merchandise to pick something out. Libraries will often turn to flyer printing to advertise/promote events.

The party will run between 11:00 am and 11:30 am on Monday, July 8. The event has a Facebook listing offering more information.
