Artist hosts Tustin art class with wine

A Tustin artist is hosting a class for Paint & Vino in early July.

Alexis Rivera will show the attendees how to paint a detailed seascape featuring some silhouettes of sea turtles. Painters are encouraged to use their own colors and modify the painting to fit their style if they choose to. There is no prior skill required to attend the class.

The supplies will all be provided for the students. They will get to keep their painting at the end as a promotional product to encourage them to come back again in the future. If attendees like the instruction Rivera gives specifically, they can look online or on her social media for the other classes she will be teaching in the future.

Attendees will be able to drink their favorite beverage while painting, but are reminded to drink responsibly. Outside drinks and food are not allowed, but some will be available for purchase.

Anyone attending in groups should specify so in the notes during registration so they can be seated together, while anyone attending alone should say so as well. Due to the pandemic, spaces are limited.

The class costs $45, and takes place from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on July 3. The location of the lesson is the Mess Hall Market. There is free parking available around the area. Attendees should arrive early enough to park and be there at least 15 minutes before the start time for check-in.
