A new warehouse style grocery store recently declared itself open for business in Stockton.
The grand opening event drew crowds of people to the new Food Source, which is located in the site of the former Raley’s supermarket. Some had been waiting that morning since well before it opened. There were long lines for the checkouts, as customers came in to see what the store had to offer, but The Record reported that most did not mind the wait.
Pamela Garcia told a reporter from The Record that that she was pleased with the experience she’d had, and would be back. Her friend who was with her was happy with the service and prices.
Food Source’s general manager Rick Linton remarked that there is a lot of competition in the city when it comes to this style of food store, so he was pleased that the area residents showed so much support. Promotional Products can be designed to give to those who come out for events such as this.
The establishment has a floor space of 62,000 square feet, stocks 20,000 different items, and employs more than 60 people. It is located at 2323 W. Hammer Lane, and is open from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm every day. Anyone who would like to learn more is invited to visit the Food Source website.
