The first art exhibition in a series of events known as the Stockton Art Nights will be held by the City of Stockton Arts Commission (SAC) next month.
These exhibits will be held on a quarterly basis, and will take place at the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium on North Center Street. All these exhibits will be free and open to the public, and will offer an exciting opportunity for many artists and performers in the community to share their work with residents and visitors to Stockton.
Artists are welcome to apply for any Art Night. Applications need to include at least three sample images of the work, dimensions of the work, a statement or biography, and any mechanism needed for the display of the art.
Works to be displayed will be selected by the SAC based on creative excellence, artistic merit, intellectual richness, and its contribution towards the goals, spirit, and theme of the exhibit. Space for displaying work is limited, and the SAC will make the final decision on which artwork will be displayed on any given evening.
Artists may have Business Cards or Flyers with more information about themselves and prices for their work if available for sale. Local Print shops can often assist with the printing of such materials.
The four Art Nights will be on March 12, June 4, September 10, and December 10, all of which fall on a Tuesday, and run from 4:00 to 7:00pm.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print
