As the population ages, more people are taking on the role of caregiver, and an upcoming Stockton event will take a day to show them how much their efforts and dedication are appreciated.
The 9th Annual Caregiver Appreciation Day will be held at the Robert Cabral Agricultural Center, and there will be a wide range of activities to help those who participate enjoy themselves while they relax and recharge their batteries. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served, and there will be guest speakers, Reiki, massage, a vendor village, prize draws, and more. There will be free diabetes screening, free flu shots, and free hugs will also be provided to those who need a little extra support.
This celebration of caring will be held on November 12, and will run from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm. Anyone who arrives before 8:30 pm will be eligible to win the early bird draw. The fee to take part is $50, and all those who plan on coming out are asked to register ahead of time. A company that prepares ad specialties can produce ones to be included as “swag” in goodie Bags that can be distributed to all those who participate in an event such as this.
