Seeking Stockton food lovers

Those in Stockton who love to try different foods and some unique takes on their favorites are invited to an event planned with them in mind.

Food Truck Mania!, which has been organized by SactoMoFo and he San Joaquin County Park District, will see mobile food vendors from all over the state congregate on Oak Grove Park. There will be dozens of different dishes to try, as well as live music and other entertainment to enjoy in this family friendly event.

It is suggested that those who come out bring along a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, and pets are welcome, so long as they are well behaved and under the owner’s control at all times. Since it is a family themed event, no alcohol will be sold. Printing companies can be called upon to produce signage for events such as this that, made from materials that can withstand being out in the elements.

There is no charge to attend the celebration, but parking and vehicle entry into the park will cost $5 per vehicle. Those who intended to make use of this service are reminded that only cash payments can be accepted.

The Stockton Food Truck Mania! will take place on September 1 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Oak Grove Park. More information can be found on the event’s website.
