Confidence Plus Insurance launches local charity program

With the goal of benefiting the local community one organization, person, or family at a time, Confidence Plus Insurance has announced the debut of a new charity program in Stockton, California.

The company will work with local non-profit organizations to identify a new beneficiary every 30-60 days. The goal is to help the individual with immediate needs, such as medication, rebuilding costs, living expenses, or the cost of transportation.

Each new beneficiary will be showcased on a designated donations page, and will include a full story about the cause. Confidence Plus Insurance will take on the responsibility of promoting that page through its own channels, including its database of customers, staff, neighbors, friends, and business partners.

The agency will also be working with its printing company to reserve a full page of its publication, Our Hometown, to promote the campaign and the featured family. The magazine can also be accessed electronically.

The first person chosen for the company’s charity effort is Damian, a local child fighting Medulloblastoma. His family struggles with medical bills, lost income, and treatment expenses. The family had set up a ‘Go Fund Me’ page, which is now supported by Confidence Plus. Dean Shibler, principal agent at Confidence Plus Insurance, commented:

“Dealing with your child being sick is hard enough. We want to take some of the financial stress off the family so they don’t have to worry about costs related to spending time with Damian at the hospital.”
