Bob Whitson, the chief executive of iSnap, has summarized the patent procedure to the Sacramento Business Journal, admitting:
“It was a very long process.”
Whitson has revealed that work on securing the patent commenced about five years ago. The patent application was formally made in spring 2012.
The patent in question relates to the way in which iSnap facilitates the uploading of pictures onto social networks. The equipment is designed to be of use when it comes to events.
The business has been working from shared workspace in midtown Sacramento. This unit is called Hacker Lab and Whitson has maintained that it has been a positive location from his perspective. In particular, he has commented on how the space has proved suitable for prototype construction.
