The All-Star Preps Awards Show sponsored by the Stockton Record, which honors the top high school athletes in the area, will be held in June as planned with an on-demand broadcast.
Such special events can be made known throughout a community with banner printing services.
Jesse Palmer and Sage Steele, television sports anchors, will host the event that will feature over 20 professional athletes who will announce awards and serve as hosts. Among the celebrity athletes at the event will be Drew Brees, a quarterback from the New Orleans Saints, presenting the football awards; Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Olympic gold medalist, presenting the track and cross-country awards; and Venus Williams, another gold medalist, presenting the tennis awards.
There will also be opportunities to win prizes and autographed gifts both before and during the show.
Don Blount, editor of the Record, expressed his delight in being able to continue this annual event that will help maintain the tradition of honoring student athletes for their dedication and hard work over the past year.
The All-Star Preps Awards Show will be held on Thursday, June 18, beginning at 6:00 pm and will be able to be viewed on any smart device via the website for the event or through YouTube. The event is also being supported by business leaders in the area, including the Port of Stockton and Dignity Health.
