Rail enthusiasts can see some eye-catching displays at the Fall Train Show in a few weeks’ time.
The South Bay Historical Railroad Society (SBHRS) is offering an open house to see a glimpse into railroad history. The nonprofit organization was established to restore and preserve the Santa Clara Railroad Depot. Now, the depot is home to the Edward Peterman Museum of Railroad History. Many of the museum’s structures were built in the 1800s to early 1900s.
The museum encompasses the depot, Santa Clara Tower, historical railroad items, and model trains made to scale. In addition, its library offers thousands of titles that members of the SBHRS may use these materials. The museum’s focus is on western railroads but also provides information and artifacts concerning other historic railroad regions.
During the fall train show, guests can see an old railcar and climb up the historic Santa Clara Tower to look at the many trains that still pass through the area. Admission is $5 for anyone aged 18 or older.
The event organizers may have asked a poster printing service to create Signs to hang around Santa Clara, as vibrant informational Posters would help to promote the event.
The show will take place on November 1 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on November 2 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. SBHRS is located at 1005 Railroad Avenue. For more information, call (408) 243-3969.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Signs
