Santa Clara to host double feature with musical talent
A performer is taking their active tour through Santa Clara for a duo of shows in a month.
Abel Tesfaye is a singer, actor, and songwriter. Currently, he goes under a different name, but this will soon change. Tesfaye’s current concert tour will mark his last as his iconic persona, The Weeknd.
Tesfaye’s journey as a recording artist started during his teenage years, with a few mixtapes. The most notable of these is “House of Balloons.” The tapes were later formed into one project, called “Trilogy.” The Weeknd had his big break with “Beauty Behind the Madness” and its hit tracks “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills.”
Since these early projects, Tesfaye has gone on to amass many career achievements such as winning several Grammys, releasing more hit tunes, earning a world record, and acting in projects like “The Idol” and “Hurry Up Tomorrow.” A few of these popular songs are “Blinding Lights,” “Save Your Tears,” “Cry For Me,” “Gasoline,” and “Star Boy” (with Daft Punk.)
The After Hours Til Dawn Tour will also feature performances from fellow artists Mike Dean and Playboi Carti. Tickets and parking for both Santa Clara shows are available through Ticketmaster. Pricing for a parking reservation, tickets, and VIP experiences range from $60.45 to $3,100.50. Many concerts will have merchandise printed with the tour’s logo design for sale. The shows at Levi’s Stadium will be starting at 7:00pm on July 8th and July 9th.
