Hype Con will come to the Santa Clara Convention Center in November for a one-day exhibition of popular items.
Hype Con is a convention where people can browse vendors who sell pop culture collectables and toys. There will be many kinds of items for sale, such as Pokémon cards, sneakers, and K-pop merchandise. Attendees can also visit artist booths and purchase blind Boxes from businesses. Guests may work on art projects at Lydia's Craft Corner, participate in BINGO sessions, and enjoy musical entertainment by DJ Caz. The special guests for the convention will include Jesse Sapolu and Ari Lehman.
The event was created in 2021 to give local artists and businesses a space to showcase their collectables to an interested audience. Hype Con also has designated spaces where trading card game players can compete in tournaments. Those who want to help out at the expo can sign up as a volunteer. The event requires all volunteers to be at least 18. Organizations that host similar conventions to this may use Graphic Design Services to make custom shirts for their volunteers.
Hype Con will be on Saturday, November 8 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. General admission to the expo is $23.18 per person, and guests 12 and under can enter for free. There will also be VIP tickets available for $49.87, which will include a special badge and a complimentary shopping bag. VIP guests may also enter the convention at 10:00 am.
