Santa Clara to hold annual parade and festival

Santa Clara will organize a sports-themed community celebration in October at Franklin Square.

The Santa Clara Parade of Champions Festival is an event the community hosts as a kickoff for Super Bowl 60 and the FIFA World Cup. The festival is also held to honor veterans and front-line heroes. This year, the event will debut the Sports FAN Zone. The new zone will be located in Downtown Santa Clara and will include interactive booths run by local sports teams and photo opportunities with mascots, cheerleading groups, and former athletes.

Companies can sponsor the parade and festival by paying between $500 and $20,000. Those who pay $500 for the Honorable Mention tier will receive logo recognition on the main event’s banner and a booth space in the Community Village. Higher tiers can get perks such as verbal recognition from the event’s emcee, an opportunity to participate in the parade, and logo placement in television commercials. The Presenting Sponsor tier will get to have a professionally built custom parade float that features their logo.

The parade and festival will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Doors to the event will open at 6:00 am. There is no cost to spectate the parade, though there are exclusive bleacher seats that can be purchased for $25. Cities that hold community festivals like this may utilize banner printing services to help promote their activities to consumers.
