Seven hydrogen fuels stations to come to California

The Iwatami Corporation of America is collaborating with Toyota North America to implement a plan that aims to make hydrogen fueling stations more accessible in places such as Santa Clara.

The plan is to increase the number of hydrogen fueling stations in Southern California by a quarter. This will give the region an extra 6,300 kilograms of hydrogen fuel supply per day. Poster printing can be used to promote such new projects.

The new stations will start being built in 2021 with an expected completion date of midyear for the first few stations. The public will be able to use the seven stations that will meet the increasing demand for zero-emission fuels in California.

Nel Hydrogen will provide the technology behind dispensing the fuel. Two fueling points will be found at each station with a maximum supply capacity of 900 kg per day. These new stations are a part of Iwatami’s largest investment in the region. The company’s number of hydrogen fueling stations worldwide is now 64.

Doug Murtha from Toyota North America described this as “evidence of the growing demand” for greener vehicles.

Iwatami has been developing and promoting hydrogen as the ultimate source of clean energy since 1941. The American branch of the company has headquarters here in Santa Clara, as well as Houston, Texas.
