The 2014 Rejuvenation Biotechnology Conference comes to the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency Hotel next week. Presented by SENS Research Foundation, the conference aspires to bring together leaders in communities related to Alzheimer’s, cancer, cardiovascular, and other diseases related to age
The hope is that preventative strategies can be discussed to address the diseases, which affect the elderly. At many conferences like this, attendees like to use business card printing to network and have contact information available for colleagues.
The conference will include leaders from the fields of industry, academia, policy, investment, and disease advocacy. Both presentations and panel discussions will be available to attendees, as the conference looks to examine diseases of the elderly with scientific, regulatory, and economic approaches in mind.
The keynote speaker on the opening day will be George Church, Harvard Medical School’s Professor of Genetics.
Registrations for the conference remain open until tomorrow, or until spots sell out. Cost varies from $785 to $1,995 depending on student and employment status; visit the conference’s website for more details. Registration includes full access to all sessions, receptions, meals, and the exhibitor reception.
A variety of sponsors are listed for the conference, including Rejuvenation Research, PeproTech, LifeExtension, the Genetics Policy Institute, and Sierra Sciences. For a downloadable conference brochure, visit the conference’s website.
It all takes place from August 21 to 23.
