Legendary performer calls in on Santa Clara in final tour

An artist considered by many to be music royalty is on the road for what is set to be the last time. Two shows are set for Santa Clara in early October.

Sir Elton John, CBE, has been a recording artist since the late 1960s, branching off into a multitude of other roles and job titles over the years. His career took off in 1970, and from there John continued to bring his unique sound, style, and perspective to the masses.

John, who was born Reginald Dwight, worked continuously over the years since. By 1980, he was releasing his 23rd record. In addition to his music, he has founded multiple charities, funds, and companies. Now 75 years old, some of the hits from his large catalog are “Rocket Man (I Think It’s Going To Be A Long, Long Time),” “Bennie And The Jets,” “Tiny Dancer,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Your Song,” and “Crocodile Rock.”

Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour, has been running since 2018 and is set to end next year. It will be coming to town for two days, with Levi’s Stadium the venue. Six options are available for VIP bundles, ranging in price from $249 to $1,499.

The concerts will kick off at 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9.
