The City Eats will host its annual Thanksgiving Giveback this November, partnering with City Impact San Francisco to prepare and distribute meals to community members in need.
Volunteers of all ages are invited to take part in a day of service that continues the organization’s tradition of supporting neighbors during the holiday season.
This potluck-style event asks individual volunteers to bring a warm dish, bought from a store, that serves at least 10 people. The City Eats will provide turkey and cranberry sauce, and cases of water are also needed.
Those unable to volunteer can still contribute by donating food or funds starting at 7:00 am on the day. Monetary donations can also be made through the organization’s website.
For events such as this, organizers may rely on professional Logo Design for event materials, volunteer shirts, and promotional content. Clear, consistent visuals help convey the mission and encourage community participation.
The event will be held on Thursday, November 26, 2026, running from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at City Impact, 144 Taylor Street, San Francisco. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 7:45 am, with food donation drop-off beginning at 8:00 am. Meal prep and Packaging start at 9:00 am, followed by meal pick-up for street distribution at 10:00 am. Further information is available on the event’s website or Eventbrite listing.
