San Francisco celebrates Taiwanese American Culture

San Francisco’s Union Square will host the largest Taiwanese American celebration on the West Coast in early May.

The Taiwanese American Cultural Festival will mark its 33rd year, highlighting the city’s diversity in a family friendly setting. The festival features Taiwanese culture, food, entertainment and activities.

First taking place in 1993, the event has grown into a major annual gathering. This year, organizers expect more than 10,000 attendees, giving visitors a chance to experience Taiwan’s cultural heritage and recognize the contributions of Taiwanese Americans to the region.

Programming will include lion dancing, an acrobatic troupe, and many additional performances. The Taiwan School Kids Choir will also perform at the event, giving students a chance to experience the Taiwanese language through music.

Food will include well known dishes such as beef noodle soup. Booths across the square will showcase art, Apparel, and work from Taiwanese artists and vendors from across the state.

Organizers of events like this often turn to brochure printing and poster printing. Printed items such as program schedules, cultural program Booklets, vendor signage and sponsor displays can play an important role in shaping and improving the festival atmosphere.

The Taiwanese American Cultural Festival will be held on May 9th, 2026, at Union Square in San Francisco. It is expected to commence at 10 am and end around 4 pm.
