Ron Pope will be at the Great American Music Hall, to help get the new year off to a good start. The New York City-based artist grew up in Georgia, and has remained an independent artist throughout his career. Of his many songs, a record label has been involved in releasing only two, “I Believe” and “A Drop in the Ocean,” which were handled by Universal Republic.
Although working independently can be challenging, Pope has developed a following around the world, performing in more than 20 countries. His songs are downloaded or enjoyed online millions of times, proving that an artist can succeed as an independent.
A review of one of Pope's performances notes that he has immense talent, but one of the things that makes him so successful is his:
“active, adaptive stage presence.”
Pope had a setlist he intended to perform, but changed it based on the way the music sounded, and the reaction of the audience. Pope's songs and stories are based on his life experiences, and that of humans in general, and include titles like “Someday We're All Gonna Die.”
Ron Pope will perform at the Great American Music Hall at 8.00 pm on January 30. Flyer printing can be used to create programs for events like this.
