San Franciscos imagination-focused preschool to host virtual tour

San Francisco parents interested in enrolling their child in a preschool that emphasizes play-based learning should note that Stretch the Imagination Preschool is hosting a virtual tour and presentation in January 2021.

Stretch the Imagination is an early childhood educational facility that promotes play-based learning and imagination development for its students. The preschool follows a program inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of Italy, which emphasizes the educational benefits of using art, movement, and music to help children learn. Its mission is to treat each child as a unique individual and provide them with a place of collaboration and creative discovery.

The preschool’s director, Michelle Lawton, will head the virtual tour and answer any questions that parents might have. After registering, parents will receive an emailed Zoom link to access the virtual presentation. Since tours typically sell out, organizers request that if registered parents need to cancel, they should contact Michelle at 415-922-0104 to release their spot so that others on the waitlist can join. Events such as this often employ graphic design artists to help prepare the website for a virtual audience.

The virtual tour is scheduled for Saturday, January 9 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Free registration is available on Eventbrite.com. To be eligible, children must be two years old by August 31 of the 2021/2022 school year.
