San Francisco gets new Togo's

Togo's Eateries, LLC, a shop renowned for its sandwiches, has opened a new spot in South San Francisco.

The shop is on Airport Boulevard. Togo's is famous for its fresh, meaty sandwiches that are generous in size. Patrons of the franchise are encouraged to register as members of the “Tribe”; those who patronize the new location should designate “South San Francisco, California” as their chosen location if they register online. So-called Tribe Members are eligible to receive special offers and rewards.

Togo's CEO Tony Gioia said the company was excited about opening the South San Francisco store, and is eager to bring its signature sandwiches to the area.

Togo's is the brainchild of a college student who, in 1971, founded the chain in order to enjoy sandwiches as he preferred them: big and meaty, made with fresh ingredients. Togo's continues that legacy, using only fresh cheeses, avocados, and meats, including their proprietary pastrami.

Patrons can either call ahead or place an online order to avoid having to wait. Local delivery is available, and Togo's also offers catering options, creating wraps, box lunches, large salads and sandwich platters for parties and meetings of any size. Togo's new spot is open from 10 am until 8 pm, Monday through Sunday.

Companies like this can benefit if operators work with flyer printing companies, which can create handouts listing specials, for distribution near a new location.
