Symphony X, which formed in New Jersey in 1994, is a progressive metal band best known for “Iconoclast,” the studio album they dropped in 2011. They first charted in the United States in 2007 with their album “Paradise Lost.”

Firewind, a group who got together in 1998, hails from Thessaloniki, Greece, and is a power metal band. They have enjoyed international success, and a review says:

Primal Fear is a power metal band from Esslingen, Germany, who first got together in 1997. The band charted in 2012 in the U.S., when their album “Unbreakable” went to No. 44 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
