San Francisco will be the place to be soon, for an unusual and delicious competition.
Sixteen of the best chefs in the City by the Bay will go head-to-head to win the honor of being named Lamb Jam San Francisco Champion. The contest is to honor the 80,000 lamb-raising ranches and farms around the country.
San Francisco is a stop on the Lamb Jam Tour, which also visits five other cities: Seattle, Washington, D.C., Denver, Boston, and Austin. Sixteen chefs in each city compete for the local title, and then those winners face off to win the overall Lamb Jam Master title at the Lamb Jam Finale.
There are two classes of tickets available, the Main Event, and the VIP Experience. Main Event ticket holders will be able to watch, sample, and vote on the creations of culinary artisans, brewers, winemakers, and bartenders. VIPs will have all that available, in addition to being admitted one hour earlier. They will also have bites and libations created exclusively for them. All the events are for those 21 and over only.
The Lamb Jam is set for July 19 at the Golden Gate Club on Fisher Loop. VIP admission is from noon until 4.00 pm, and general admission is 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Tickets in both categories include all the attendees can eat and drink. Events like this provide an excellent opportunity for participants to distribute their Business Cards.
