Blue Bottle Coffee is expanding rapidly in San Francisco, and just opened its 10th location in the city, this time on second street in the Financial District. The coffee gurus have taken over the premises once operated by Subway.
Blue Bottle could be described as a “third-wave” coffee company—the first “wave” was the major coffee companies like Folgers that sold coffee for people to make at home; the second was the specialty shops like Starbucks that are now mainstream; and now the third is the newer shops offering still more varieties. New businesses like this need to let patrons know their doors are open, so they could use Promotional Products to help spread the word.
Coffee hounds have been waiting for the place to open, since it had an original start date of late last year, but renovations took longer than anticipated. The interior design is the work of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson's architects, which created concrete panels with a textured design for the walls, and then added oak chairs and tables where visitors can sit to enjoy their coffee, chat, or work.
Blue Bottle is known for its seasonal drip coffees, which it obtains from a single source. It also serves pastries, espresso drinks, and viennoisieries (baked sweet treats) provided by Midwife and the Baker in Mountain View.
The coffee house is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am until 6:00 pm, and from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm on the weekends.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
