Canine capers in San Francisco

An event is scheduled in San Francisco that celebrates dogs, St. Patrick's Day, and raises funds, all at the same time.

Patrick's Park is the site of the annual Patrick's Pawade, the largest event held at the venue. All of the money raised goes to Rocket Dog Rescue, a San Francisco-based volunteer organization dedicated to saving dogs. The event is a celebration of all dogs, and helps to support them and those who care for them.

The schedule for the day includes DOGA (dogs + yoga), which will be led by Move with Mairin and accompanying c-list canine celebrities. Owners will be able to walk down the red carpet with their canine companions while Justin Ward plays the saxophone. Pet Krewe will be donating canine costumes so that adoptable dogs can dress to impress future pet parents. In addition, a panel of canine community leaders (people, not dogs) will award trophies to the winners.

Comcast will provide a photo booth, and DogTV will be steaming various programs, and there will be prizes throughout the day. VIP Bags will include goodies like toys from Barkbox, and raffle prizes will include a pair of vouchers for a flight on Southwest. Finally, the Argonaut, a dog-friendly hotel, is donating a one-night visit.

The Pawade is set for March 20, 2021, from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm, in Patrick's Park at Fort Mason 11. Banner printing can provide sturdy, attractive decorations for outdoor events like this.
