Cami McLaren will be organizing a leadership workshop in July at the CPS HR in Sacramento.
Coach-Style Leadership is a program where people can learn how to adjust their approach to leading others and develop stronger relationships. The workshop focuses on a style that consists of asking, empowering, and guiding team members rather than the traditional method of telling, supervising, and disciplining. Students will be taught several skills in the lesson, such as deep listening, making clear agreements, and forming powerful questions.
Cami McLaren is the instructor for the workshop and founder of the consulting organization McLaren Coaching. She is also the co-author of Coaching for Attorneys: Improving Productivity and Achieving Balance. Her firm’s main objective is to help professionals strengthen important skills such as time management, productivity, and communication. McLaren can also give keynote presentations and host workshops on topics like trust-building and incorporating coaching into organizations.
The lesson will be held on Tuesday, July 12th from 8:30 am to noon. Tickets for the workshop can be bought for $169. The cost will include a workbook and a free coaching call from McLaren or one of her trained coaches.
