Sacramento workshop to teach acrylic techniques

Jaya King will be offering an art class this November in Sacramento on creating pictures using acrylic paints.

The Luscious Landscape 2-Day Acrylic Workshop is an event that serves as an introduction to acrylic art for those with little to no experience with painting. The first day of the class will teach attendees about creating landscapes through composition and color, while the second day will focus on teaching guests about adding details to their pictures. Many technique demonstrations will be included in the course that cover topics like layering and color-mixing.

Jaya King is an artist who gives regular lectures to art organizations throughout California. King’s workshops help those who are starting as artists to express their individuality while growing their skills and facing their fears. She developed an encaustic scholarship program in 2016 and has been featured in magazines such as Girls on the Grid, Inside Publications, and Encaustic Arts Magazine. King also has a virtual art school and teaches a masterclass on color mixing.

The acrylic workshop will begin on November 19 and will start at 11:00 am. The cost to attend the art lesson will be $175. Most materials will be included during the workshop, though students will be responsible for bringing their own canvas to the class. Artistic courses like this can make ads with flyer printing services that get more people interested in coming.
