Sacramento teems with egg hunts

Sacramento has four egg hunts scheduled for this weekend.

Fair Oaks Recreation and Parks District will hold its Easter Eggstravaganza from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Fair Oaks Park, 11549 Fair Oaks Blvd. Along with the children’s egg hunts there will be a craft table, inflatables, carnival games, and a petting zoo. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures that can be taken to local Stationery printers for Holiday Cards for next year. Adults, ages 16 and over, will have their own egg hunt for gift cards. There will also be a pancake breakfast and a hot dog lunch available for purchase.

The Sac Zoo Eggstravaganzoo will also have egg hunts from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and crafts, goody Bags, animal enrichments, a stage show, and keeper chats.

North Highlands Recreation and Park District will also hold its Spring Fling and Community Egg Hunt on Saturday from 10:00 am until noon in Freedom Park, 3200 Freedom Park Drive. The hunt will be for kids 12 and under. Everyone, no matter what age, will get an opportunity to find three golden eggs. Each can be turned in for prizes. Other activities will include games, bounce houses, and family-friendly entertainment.

Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District will have an Egg-O-Rama and Pancake Breakfast at Howe Park, 2201 Cottage Way. Breakfast will run from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, and the Hunt and Carnival will be from 9:30 am until noon.
