Dinosaur-loving children can attend a weeklong camp in July at the Sacramento Adventure Playground.
The Dinomania Camp is an entertaining and educational program that offers numerous themed activities for kids to enjoy. Campers will get to partake in enrichment experiences such as building dinosaurs, finding fossils, and creating fossils. There are also games held at the program to encourage physical play, including bean bag relays and obstacle relays. Participating children can even complete art projects using materials like clay, beads, and paper.
The Sacramento Adventure Playground is a program created by the Fairytale Town attraction that offers activities for children aged 6 to 15. The first adventure playground session was organized by a landscape architect named Carl Theodore Sorensen in 1943. Sacramento’s program was established in 2011 and constructed its main facility in 2016. Those interested in helping the playground continue providing entertaining programs to children can donate online.
The Dinomania Camp will take place from Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22. Each day of the program will last from 9:00 am to noon. The cost to enroll a camper will be $165 per student. The playground will also be offering an Investigative Camp and Fort Building Camp in July. Community organizations that provide themed activities similar to these may use poster printing to share their camps with local families.
