Sacramento organization to hold holiday tea party

The Sierra 2 Center for the Arts and Community will host a festive tea party in December at Curtis Hall in Sacramento.

Holiday High Tea is an activity that helps guests unwind during the hectic Christmas season. Refreshments will be provided by The Novel Tea, a local tea shop that sells artisan tea blends and holds tea education courses. The admission cost includes scones, sweets, and tea sandwiches. Guests can stay at Curtis Hall to enjoy the experience in person or purchase a kit to bring their holiday tea party back home. No substitutions are available for the party’s menu.

The Sierra 2 Center is a neighborhood organization that hosts a variety of educational and cultural activities. Some of the events offered by the group include the Abstract Intuitive Painting Workshop and the Harvest High Tea. People can volunteer for the center as board members or distributors of the organization’s publication. Volunteers may also help with the group’s My Story Project, which films and produces DVDs of older adults to share with their loved ones.

The holiday tea party will be on Saturday, December 3 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. The cost is $50 per person, and the take-home kits are $54 per person. Organizations that hold neighborhood activities such as this may use poster printing to share their holiday events with people.
