Sacramento music festival to feature local bands

The Colonial Heights Neighborhood Association will be organizing a music festival at the Colonial Playground in Sacramento.

The Colonial Heights Porchfest is a community concert that supports local musicians and businesses. The event’s live performances are appropriate for all ages, and there will be four different porches near the park where the artists will perform. Attendees can visit the Colonial Playground to order food from food trucks and browse merchandise from local vendors. Each set at the event will last for about 35 minutes.

The Neighborhood Association is an organization that gives members of the community a place to share information and connect with their neighbors. The Colonial Heights subdivision was built in 1910 and has grown to include about 700 homes. Many events are organized by the association, including birdwatching excursions and monthly meetings. The community is also home to landmarks like the Colonial Heights Splash Pool and Colonial Heights Public Library.

The community music fest will be held on Saturday, October 7 from noon to 7:00 pm. There is no cost to attend the concerts. Registration is not required for the event, though people can reserve a spot at the festival by visiting its event page. Vendors who attend local events such as this may use Print shops to make Signs for their stalls that help them get noticed by more consumers.
