Southside Park in Sacramento will be enjoying a festival this September that will bring Louisiana-style seafood to the community.
The Crawfish & Catfish Festival is a cooking event that brings authentic Louisiana flavors to the city by serving a range of dishes. Attendees can try a diverse selection of food at the festival, such as alligator, frog legs, jambalaya, and oysters. This year, the event will be introducing tamales, lumpia, enchiladas, and paella made with crawfish. Culinary experiences like this can use banner printing to design large Signs that draw attention to the event.
There will be many exciting activities for people to experience at the festival, like cooking demonstrations and zydeco dance lessons. The event will also have crawfish racing and a pool for catching catfish. Guests can browse the vendor marketplace and stop by the Sportsman’s Paradise Outdoor Expo. The festival will even include a Mardi Gras party featuring music entertainment provided by the former member of Tower of Power, Michael Jefferies.
The event will be held on September 19 and September 20. Admission for the festival can be bought for $15 each or $28 for two tickets. Children who are under 15 years old and those who have a military I.D. do not need to pay for admission. The Mardi Gras Live party will be on the first day from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
