The Tartan Hearts School of Scottish Highland Dance will be hosting a competitive event this December at Studio 1 in Sacramento.
Those interested in experiencing Scottish culture can view a competitive dancing session organized by the Tartan Hearts School of Scottish Highland Dance. Each dancer will be competing individually and will be judged on their agility, strength, endurance, and precision. Scottish Highland Dancing is an evolved form of ballet that was originally performed by members of the Scottish Army to help them train.
The Tartan Hearts School of Scottish Highland Dance initially opened in 2010 with the mission of spreading the love for Scottish dancing through education and competitive events. The school offers dancing lessons for people of all ages at both beginner and champion levels. The organization hosts several cultural activities during the year, like their annual Celtic Toast to the New Year. The dancing event will be held on Sunday, December 27 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, and the activity will cost $15.
