Impound Comics will be holding a convention for anime and comics in October at The Grand in Sacramento.
Comic Verse Sacramento is a two-day experience where comic and anime enthusiasts can meet and interact with fellow fans and notable figures in the industry. Several special guests will be invited to the convention, including voice actors such as Olivia Hack, Jennie Kwan, and Gary Sturgis. Over 40 vendors will attend the event to sell merchandise, comics, toys, and Apparel. The convention will even host competitions and offer giveaways to attendees.
Impound Comics is a store in Sacramento that produces original comics. People can support the business’ project Impound by donating to its Patreon. The shop’s current goal is to receive $1,000 per month to help produce its comics. Impound Comics also organizes several activities throughout the year, such as Super Bowl viewing parties, creative mixers, and book signing events. The convention will be held from Saturday, October 1 to Sunday, October 2 and will open at noon on both dates. The cost to attend the event is $10 for a single day or $18 for two days.
