No Easter season would be complete without the traditional egg hunt, and Sacramento families will be able to enjoy a morning of carnival fun in addition to a series of designated-aged egg hunts.
Early next month, The Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District will be presenting its annual Egg-O-Rama and Carnival.
A pancake breakfast will kick off the event and games and activities will follow. Children will get to enjoy face painting, a bounce house, and of course a visit with the Easter Bunny. Pictures with the fun-loving rabbit will be $5 each. Parents may want to get these 4x6 souvenirs for later memories, poster printing, or postcard printing.
The fun is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, from 8:00 am to noon, at Howe Park, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Registration for the hunts will be 9:30 am to 10:30 am, and the two and three-year-olds will get to have their walk through Egg Hunt at 10:15 am.
Also at 10:15 am, the children ages four through seven will get to hunt for their eggs. The older kids ages eight through twelve can ferret out their eggs at 11:15 am. The frantic Bunny Battle, the free-for-all for ages 13 and up, will also begin at 11:15 am.
Admission to the carnival will be $4. The breakfast will cost $3 and the hunt will be $5.
