The US chapter of the International Society for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis (ISPS-US) will hold a conference in Sacramento.
The ISPS-US 2022 Conference: Opportunity Through Experience is an informative hybrid event for clinicians. There will be numerous sessions at the conference, including Jung's Approach to the Treatment of Psychosis, Psychoanalysis and Psychosis; and Unraveling Psychosis: Psychodynamic Treatment of Psychosis. This year will feature professional presenters such as Al Galves, Françoise Davoine, and Denise Maratos. Those attending the event in person can go to a catered reception and receive morning coffee and pastries.
The keynote speakers will be Celia Brown, Carlos Padrón, and Lionel Corbett. Brown works for the NYS Office of Mental Health as its Regional Advocacy Specialist and is MindFreedom International's board president. Padrón is a teacher at the Silberman School of Social Work and has published essays like The Political Potentiality of the Psychoanalytic Process. Corbett has written several Books and teaches at the Pacifica Graduate Institute.
The ISPS-US conference will be held from Friday, November 4 to Sunday, November 6. Each session will last from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Professionals can pay $450 to register for the live event, and students can register for $216. There will also be a buffet dinner at the conference that people may join for $67.
